Show Newlyweds, Mr., Mrs. Barker make home in Springville ated in an out-door theme with pine trees and other motifs in green and coral colors predominating. y, m i fit m. J ' i l. , ' a-- ' -.- I Now at home in Springville are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin L. Barker, who were married March 4, in the Salt Lake Temple and honored at a reception in the Twelfth Ward Church, the same evening. The bride is the former Miss Patricia Curtis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Carl Curtis, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Barker, all of Springville. The charming young bride chose a wedding gown of white brocade with delustered satin coat and chapel train. Her veil of silk net, elbow-length, fell from a headpiece of velvet beaded petals. She carried a white orchid embedded in coral-colored carnations and lily of the valley with streamers and bows. Attending her as bridesmaids were Lorna Bird, Carla Conrad, Con-rad, Mrs. Paul Strasburg and Anita Barker, while Annette Strasburg was flower girl. They wore floor-length sleeveless sleeve-less gowns of coral crystaline with white elbow-length gloves and coral-colored shoes; also headpieces of coral netting with coral headpiece and bows in a design to match that of the bride. Their flowers were coral carnations with long streamers. Larry Mason was best man to the groom. Both the mother of the bride and groom were- attired in green brocade matching dresses, dress-es, with orchid corsage. Acting as host and hostess during the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Crandall and Mrs. Elmo Curtis. Carolyn Beardall and Glenda Bleggi were at the guest register. Arranging the gifts were Joyce Livsey, Jan Roberts, Mrs. Arnold Bredesen and Lar-alee Lar-alee Rosenbruch. Serving was done by Mrs. Larry Mason, Mrs. Larry Nau, Pauline Whiting, Cheryl Carter, Car-ter, Vicky Cannon and Chris Cannon. A lovely 4-tiered wedding cake in bright coral was trimmed trim-med with green heart-shaped leaves and bells and topped with a miniature bride and groom in a tiny heart of net.
