Show Dinner honors Lois G. Thorn Lois G. Thorn of this city, service representative for the Mountain States Telephone Co., at Spanish Fork, was complimented compli-mented at a dinner at a cafe in that city, Monday evening, marking 25 years service with the company. She was presented with a gift from fellow workers anc the district commercial manager, man-ager, Jack J. Dalton, presented present-ed her with the 25-year jewelec pin commending her for hei faithful and' outstanding service. ser-vice. Attending the dinner, beside; the guest of honor, were Marj Lou Hawkins, Jean Jensen Erma Fech, Lorraine Davis Eva Jean Nelson, Janear Brown, Theron W. Johnson commercial manager and Mr Dalton. Miss Thorn began working for the telephone company ii 1940, at Springville, later mov ing to Provo and then to Span ish Fork. She resides at 33! East 100 No., Springville, i daughter of Mrs. Fron Thori and is active in church, ant civic organizations in the com munity. |
