Show Lafe season e!k hunts scheduled Two late season elk hunts, involving 365 hunters, are set to get underway November 14, according to the Utah Department Depart-ment of Fish and Game. The two hunts, set by the Board of Big Game Control to run through Monday, November Novem-ber 23, are the Fish Lake and Heaston units. Permit holders were felected for these and all other elk hunting units during the annual an-nual public drawing conducted last August 31 at the Fish and Game Office. Game managers today advised ad-vised permit holders to go full-ly full-ly prepared to meet wintry conditions. A tray of cheese and fruit makes an unusual as well as nutritious dessert. Two tasty combinations are apple wedges with camembert and fresh pear slices with blue cheese. In 1917, soldiers of the First Division became the first U.S. troops to see action in World War I. |
