Show College alumni banquet Credit card inventor to speak Olson accompanied by Cleo Petty on the piano. Also on the agenda is the election of lour new alumni council members. Born and raised in Cedar City, the banquet speaker received a bachelors degree from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis after earning ear-ning the associate degree at SUSC. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and Korea, primarily on destroyers. CKDAlt CITY - The inventor of the magnetic credit card will be the guest speaker Oct. 30 at the Southern Utah State College Alumni Banquet. Forrest C. Parry, IBM Manager of Development Education, Rochester, Minn., will speak on "Reflections," the 1982-82 homecoming theme. Parry is a 1941 graduate of SL'SC (then Branch Agricultural College.). The banquet will begin at t p.m. in the SUSC Large Ballroom. Tickets are $7 and include ad mission to the semi lormal homecoming dance that begins at 9 p.m. that evening. Reservations must be made by Oct. 27 according ac-cording to Peg Thorley, alumni secretary. Mary Anker, Brad Sehmutz, Herman Anderson, Boyd Edwards, Jane Petty, Tim Anderson and Gary Giles. Tickets are also available trom Jack Bishop, SUSC director of Development and Alumni Relations. The alumni organization's Distinguished Service Award recipient will be named at the banquet.
