Show Vet representative to visit Cedar City CEDAR CITY Martin S. Blaustein, a representative of the Disabled American Veterans, will be here Sept. 21 at the Job Service Center from 1 to 4 p.m. to address the problems related to Agent Orange and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Blaustein will be available to answer questions and to assist veterans and their families in seeking answers an-swers to these problems. He will also assist any veteran or widow in any matters concerning veterans benefits. Agent Orange and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder are two problems related to the Vietnam veteran and his or her family. Veterans who believe they were exposed to Agent Orange should be examined by the V.A. It is estimated that 500,000 to 800,000 veterans may be affected by Post Traumatic Stress. Some of the symptoms include guilt over surviving when others did not, anxiety or nervousness, depression or deep sadness, nightmares night-mares or flashbacks in which the veteran experiences ex-periences a disaster, or jumpiness, especially to sounds that remind the veteran of disaster. This is a free service, and veterans need not be a member of the D.A.V. to qualify for assistance. |
