Show Adams, Farnsworth win in primary J. P. elections could theoretically be in two positions at once, something that is not prohibited, but is not common. The race between Adams and Farnsworth Farn-sworth really wasn't too close, with Adams taking 474 of the 850 votes cast, or 56 percent, enough to defeat Farnsworth Farn-sworth in November if it were up to only those voters who took part in the primary election. Farnsworth received 227 votes or 27 percent. Turner received only 149 votes or 17 percent. Kenneth H. Adams and incumbent Gordon Farnsworth will advance to the November general election to decide who will be the justice of the peace for the Parowan Precinct for the next four years. The other candidate for the position, Judy Turner, was eliminated in the primary election Tuesday. Farnsworth is the current justice for the Parowan Precinct, and Adams is the justice for Parowan City. Thus, if Adams should win the final election, he |
