Show Wilde mess area discussion set CEDAR CITY A meeting to discuss wilderness areas in southern Utah will be conducted April 3 at 7 p.m. at the Southern Utah State College Old Administration Ad-ministration Building. The wilderness areas will be visualized through a multi-media show by John Telford and Clive i i in i Kincaid, and Mike Scott will present a thorough description of the wilderness process and wilderness across the United States. A short workshop will also be conducted to teach the wilderness photographer a few tricks to making better photographic logs so that decision makers, who are not able to travel to these proposed wilderness areas can be convinced of the area's wilderness value through pictures. For the past three years, the Bureau of Land Management has been conducting a wilderness review of the 174 million acres of land within its jurisdiction. The first phase, wilderness inventory, resulted in the elimination of all but 24 million acres in the 924 areas from any further consideration as wilderness. ji.:. ;n 1 ' " - i eta w .sKLyf ffe Don Peterson, (left) manager of the Cedar City Branch of the Federal Land Bank, presents Cleo Wood of Cedar City with a hat for being named Cattleman of the Year by the Utah Cattle Growers.
