Show area in 1937 to work for Bradshaw Chevrolet, where he worked for 26 years as a mechanic. He owned and operated A & M Auto Service in Cedar City for the last 18 years. He supported baseball programs and was active in the local square dance clubs. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City; son and daughters, Dwane of Cedar City, Mrs. Roger ( Betty Ann Chidisterof Cedar City, Mrs. John )Lucille Hickey of West Lake Village, Calif., Leslie Ray ofMdose.Wyo., Merrill Evan of Hawaii, Nancy Fay Jones of Portland, Oregon, and Jane Jones of Cedar City, Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren ; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Aaron R. William R., Luella Downard and Vera Lockwood all of Salt Lake City, Asael S. of Granger, Utah and Irene Peterson of Sanger, Calif. Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Cedar City Seventh and Ninth LDS Chapel. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetary under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. Arthur Rowley Jones ARTHUR(ART) ROWLEY JONES, 64, died August 27, 1980, in a Cedar City hospital. He was born May 25, 1916, in Wellington, Carbon County, Utah to William E. and Mary Ann Rowley Jones. He married Violet Fay Shamo July 22, 1939, in St. George, Utah. The marriage was later solmnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Art was a graduate of Carbon High School and was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the scouting program. He came to the Cedar |
