Honor roll status for high academic achievement has been earned by 63 students including 14 from Iron County.enrolled in Southern Utah State College's summer school program. "Of this number, 21 students, three from the county, earned high honor roll status, of straight 'A' average during the quarter," said Ward S. Robb, college registrar. "Also included are students enrolled in special summer-time programs, such as intensive in-tensive courses in chemistry and SUS.C's eight-week program in southwestern archeology! Grades for the cooperative masters proogram are processed through USU." High honor roll students, listed alphabetically by hometown, majors in parenthesis, include in-clude CEDAR CITY-Russell CITY-Russell Bonsteel (chemistry), and Garry W. .Dion (accounting); CEDAR CITY- Karen L. Beck (business education), Marya Esplin SUSC honor roll, a student must be enrolled full-time, taking 15 or more credit hours, and earn a grade point average of 3.60 or higher. A 3.60 is approximately an "A" while the 4.00 GPA is the straight "A" average. |
