Weaver's RAiders Ride Again Looking for something warm, nourishing and different dif-ferent for that main course? This may be just the ticket! Thank's goes to Jesse Gardner for this tasty treat. MFXICAN BFAN PIE Crust 2 c. yellow cornmeal ' 2 tsp. salt 2 Tb. brewers yeast 3 Tb. cooking oil. One third to three fourths cup hot stock-beef or bean, enough to make a stiff batter. Mix above ingredients and pat into oiled deep 9" pit plate. Filling 1 onion chopped c. carrots chopped 1 c. cooked red kidney beans 3 Tb. soy sauce 1 pinch cayenne I tsp. (or less) cumin I I cup stock. If desired crumble fried 1 lb. ground round to make a one meal dish plus one third cup or more of grated sharp cheese. Saute onions, carrots and celery in oil, red beans, meat and seasonings. Turn into crust. Bake at 350 deg. lor 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
