Show MINERETTE CLUB ! ' On Friday, April 29, the Min- l erette Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Gaythwaite in Copperton for their Easter Tea. The program began with a marimba solo by Janell Hansen. Then the time was turned over to Mary Pappasideris, guest speaker and former member of the club. She is now the society editor of the Tribune. She had many important points and views to give the girls on getting along after completing high school and launching a career. A vocal solo by Beverly Ray ' accompanied by Janell Hansen conciuaea tne program. The centerpiece included a small duck sitting in a large broken bro-ken Easter egg. This was surrounded sur-rounded with green grass, Easter s eggs, and yellow tapers. Favors were small red eggs . with little yellow chicks inside of them. Committee for the tea consisted consist-ed of Kathy Zampos. chairman; Marcele Speirs, Carma Ray, i Georgia Mehan, Anna Von Mich- aelson, Alice Jaramillo, and Diane Reed. |
