Brent and Sandy Edwards drove to Salt Lake City on Friday, where Sandy and the baby had a Dr. appointment, They stayed overnight at pleasant Grove with Annette and Deloy Shepherd and came home Saturday. Funeral services were held for Loretta Reese Thompson, a life long Greenville resident. Out of town relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Marian Reese and family, of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. David Reese and family, of Mil-ford; Mil-ford; Mrs. Uzel Thomas, Josephine Killiam, Sally Rose, of Milford; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Taylor, of Delta, Del-ta, their daughter, of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Phil Briton and family, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. RonaldStubbs, and two daughters, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson and family, of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. A1-. len Gillies and two children; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Gillies, and family; Mr. Rodney Carter Car-ter and grandson of St. George, Geo-rge, Mr. andMrs. DickMur-dock, DickMur-dock, of Kanarraville. Many other friends and family also attended. Ralph and Leah Fordham drove to Ogden last week where they stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Briggs. Sunday they attended a farewell fare-well Testimonial for Dyke Briggs, son of Doug Briggs and Barbara Brasher. He has been called to an LDS Mission in South Carolina. They also visited in American Ameri-can Fork with Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Lund. Mrs. Bess Penny returned return-ed to her home in California after spending two wopV-visiting wopV-visiting Mr. and Mrs. Biu Bower. Mark and Danna Kaye Strouts are now at home in the former Alice Barton home. Mrs. IlaMurdock returned home from Shelly, Idaho, after af-ter attending the funeral services of her father, George Barton. Mrs. Verla Hemberry, Jim and Fern Williams, and Bessie Edwards spent one day at theSt. George Temple. Mrs. Emma Cunningham received word recently of the death of her sister.Paul-ine, sister.Paul-ine, who resided in Las Vegas. Veg-as. Euginia Hutchison and Sandy Barton and children, motored to Salt Lake City the past week where Euginia Eugin-ia took the state test for Nursing. Mrs. Carolyn Dalton and baby of Circleville, visited the Cullen Williams last week. Last Sunday was a special event in the Greenville Ward when two babies were blessed. bless-ed. The infant son of Ellen and Ross Bradshaw was blessed by an uncle, Wayne Bradshaw. Many of their families attended the blessing bless-ing and a family dinner later. The infant daughter of Brent and Sandy Edwards was blessed by her father. Also many families attended the meeting and a family dinner at the home of the Edwards later. Annette and Deloy Shepherd Shep-herd and family, of Pleasant Grove came on Friday evening. even-ing. The girls stayed overnight over-night with Bessie Edwards, and Ryan stayed with Rick and Kay Edwards. Annette and Deloy went on to St. George to stay with friends and attend the temple session ses-sion Saturday. They came back for the blessing of Brent and Sandy's baby. LaMar Fordham, brother of Bessie Edwards, came last week to take care of Mrs. Nettie Fordham while Bessie attended a Postal Seminar in St. George on Tuesday. Mrs. Macel Hor- |
