Little John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dee (Rhonda Van Tassell Tas-sell of Cedar City. He was born January 13, and weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces. John was blessed here in Milford last Fast Sunday by his father, fath-er, with his grandpa Van Tassell and his uncle, Lyn Hatch, of Redmond, assisting. assist-ing. February 14th was the date of Milford Second Ward's Married's group fun Valen-time Valen-time box lunch social Held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cox. The group enjoyed en-joyed visiting and topped off the evening with valentine cake and ice cream. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter Bax-ter are thrilled with the birth of their new great grandson, Ellas Monroe. He was born February 13th, and weighed 8 pounds and 9 pounces. His proud new grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baxter, Bax-ter, and the new mom and dad are Stan and Mary Strebel, of Coalville. Ellas will be welcomed home by. his big brother, Ian. Mr. and Mrs.Harold Baxter Bax-ter were visited this Saturday Satur-day by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fotherlngham of Sprlngdale. They all attended the MX meeting here at the Elementary Elemen-tary School. Mr. and Mrs. ReedGilllns motored to Las Vegas recently with Reed's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Perry (Betty) Glllins. They picked up their sister, Af-ton Af-ton Rogers and went to Riverside Riv-erside and Yucaipa, Calif. There they visited with sisters, sis-ters, Sylva Frazer and Theone and Al Mosher, and their families. They spent a few days there and on their way back they stop-'ped stop-'ped at Logandale, Nevada to visit with Mrs. Glllin's sister sis-ter and family, Bill and Thel-la Thel-la Marshall. Norm and Sherry Thompson Thomp-son and family picked up Sherry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gilllns, and motored to Cedar City recently re-cently where they also picked pick-ed up Sherry's sister and her family, the Cleve Welches, and all went roller skating at the Disco. It was a great way to spend Family Home Evening and all had a great time. Bruce Thompson had a birthday February 8, and the family celebrated with a birthday dinner at the Thompson's home. Bruces grandparents, the Reed Gilllns' Gil-llns' joined in the celebration. celebra-tion. Mitch and Beth Fisher are pleased to announce the arrival ar-rival of their new grandson, Ryan Mitchell. He was born Feb. 21, at the Milford Hospital Hos-pital and weighed in at 9 pounds 15 ounces. The proud new parents are Bart and Peggy Fisher, ofCedarClty. Ryan Is welcomed home by 2 brothers, Jason and Gary. Jason is staying with his grandma Fisher while Mom Is in the hospital. Paternal Pater-nal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond East-on East-on of Milford. Ryan's aunts Becky Easton, of St. George and Shelly Livingston, came - home for a short visit to see the new arrival. The Fishers have also enjoyed en-joyed a ten day visit from Beth's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Olsen, of Leslie, Idaho. While here they all traveled to St. George to do a little sightseeing sight-seeing and also spent some time working on the family genealogy. . . Congratulations to Pierre" and Laurie Beebe on the birth of their new son.Cory Roger, who was born February 18, at the Milford Hospital. He weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce. Maternal grandparents grandpar-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lar-ry (Karma) Kinross, ofMil- ford. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Phillip (Charmaine) Beebe, also of Milford. Milford First Ward enjoyed en-joyed a fun filled evening on February 14th, as the Young Married's Group held a pot luck dinner at the Ward Building, and followed up with volleyball. The party was sponsored by the Elders Quorum. |
