Counties. members in Iron, Beaver, Kane and Garfteia County Commission Moots Delroy Craw, Deputy Sheriff in Minersville, met with the Board and asked for an increase in salary for the year 1980. He reported re-ported he works 12 to 16 hours every day and that he should be entitled to a raise. After reviewing the circumstances and that the amounts paid to Mr. Craw by Minersville Town and Beaver County, and that he is already making more than some of the deputies - and as no money was in the budget bud-get for such raises, the rer quest was denied. Amy Koning's request for approval of a condominium map and certain problems in conjunction with it - after discussion was approved by the Board. Sheriff Nelson reported that though several people had been contacted about making repairs on the jail, none had shown up, so he finally had called in Deputy Delroy Craw to make the repairs on his own time and then bill the County. Discussion followed, on the jail proceedures, responsibilities, responsi-bilities, and duties of officers of-ficers at the Jail. The Sheriff reported that new rules and regulations have been implemented and that the same problems should not occur again. The Board again advised the Sheriff that Mr. Hutchison was hired as a JailerDispatcher, and that if he or any other officer on duty should have to leave the jail for any reason.they should call for another officer to cover for them, or lock the prisoners in their cells if no one can cover for them. The bills for radio equipment equip-ment etc., was discussed and it was decited that the county would pay. Craig Davie, Chairman of the Beaver County Advertiser Adver-tiser Committee, presented a proposed budget for spending spend-ing Transient Room Tax Funds for the year 1980. He asked that Arm ond Mon-fredi, Mon-fredi, who has moved away, be replaced with Jim Gray on the committee. Approved. Betty Jimenez met with the Board and said she felt she was unfairly dealt with when the Library Board considered con-sidered the applications on file for the Milford Librarian. Li-brarian. Discussion followed, fol-lowed, and other board members mem-bers will be consulted before be-fore decision is made. Board of Equalization dates were set for June 2, 5 and 19, 1980, from 1 to 4 P.M. Burton Myers reported that the roads in the North Fork Estates Subdivision were now up to grade and should be accepted by the County. Approved. The roads In Plat B of the NEPS be accepted and maintained by Beaver County. David and Connie Stauffer requested they be allowed to use half their park area for trailer houses and mobile mo-bile homes at Beaver Canyon Can-yon Campground. Approved. Hearings were set for Mar. 19 for changes of zoning on property in Milford from MU-10toI-l. |
