Show U,S, EXPORTS SET RECORD Figures released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agri-culture show exports of U.S. grains and soybeans running substantially ahead of last year levels, despite the suspension sus-pension of grain shipments to the Soviet Union. Despite suspension of sales, record highs are still . expected. Total exports may reach 150 million tons, far exceeding last years 137.5 million tons. The largest purchaser of U.S. grains and soybeans will be Japan, with imports surpassing those of the USSR every year. |
