Show OBITUARY MILDRED FAYE ROBINSON" FORDHAM Mildred Faye Robinson Fordham, age 55, died May 18, 1979 is a Salt Lake Hospital. She was born March 26, 1924 in Beaver to James LeRoy and Mary Atkin Robinson. She married Ralph Fordham November 17, 1945 in Pioche, Nevada. Since their marriage they have resided in Greenville. Mrs. Fordham was a member mem-ber of the LDS church and has been a long time teacher teach-er in both Sunday School and Primary. She is survived by her hus -band, Ralph; 3 sons; James Lee and Melvin Ray, both of Lyman, Wyoming, and Claude Ralph, of Greenville; 7 grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters; Lawrence (Bud) Robinson, Murray, Utah. Mrs. Elwood "Alice" Lund, American Fork, Utah; Mrs. Jack (Helen) Williams, Beaver, Utah. Funeral services were held in the Beaver 1st Ward ' May 21, 1979, with Bishop Ray Kesler, of the Greenville Green-ville Ward conducting. Interment In-terment was in the Greenville Green-ville cemetery under the di-rectionof di-rectionof the Metcalf Campbell Camp-bell Mortuary. DONNA LOUISE BRIGGS Donna Briggs, age 41, died May 17, 1979 at her home in Reseda , California. She was born September 8, 1937 in Beaver, Utah to Donald Brinkerhoff and Louise Greenwood Rhodes. She was married to Ronald G. Briggs September 9, 1954 in Beaver. Bea-ver. Mrs. Briggs was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by: husband, hus-band, Ronald; 1 son and 2 daughters; Steven R., of , Reseda; Mrs. C ornell (T am -J ie Elouise) Christensen, Hy- rum, Utah; and Teresa Briggs, Reseda. One grandchild; grand-child; Mother and Stepfather, Step-father, Alvin E. and Louise Rhodes, Cedar City; Father and Stepmother, Donald and Iona Brinkerhoff, Beaver, Utah. One sister, Mrs. Joe (Connie Jean) Higginson, of Hunter, Utah; and one half sister, Mrs. Douglas (Linda) Warren, Ogden, Utah. Funeral services were held May 21, 1979 in the Beaver 1st Ward LDS Chapel Cha-pel with Bishop Sheldon Roberts Rob-erts conducting. Interment was in the Mt. View cemetery, ceme-tery, Beaver, under the direction di-rection of the Metcalf-Campbell Metcalf-Campbell Mortuary. BENJAMIN LYNN MATTHEWS Benjamin Lynn Matthews, 86, died May 16, 1979 at an Ogden Hospital. Born December 26, 1892, Beaver, Utah, to Thomas C. and Mary Ellen Eyre Matthews. Married Esther Black, June 2, 1915. Worked Work-ed as a school teacher in Beaver and Garfield County schools, dairy farmer. Member of Roy 2nd Ward; served as Garfield Stake Clerk for 35 years; also on high council; served as Bishop of Antimony Ward. Scoutmaster. Active in the 'YMMIA. Principal of Antimony Anti-mony Elementary School Board. Town Board. Town Clerk for many years. Secretary Sec-retary of East Bench Ditch Company. Survivors: wife, Roy; and sev.en sons, four daughters, Gerald L., Wendell E., both Provo; Thomas A., Washington, Wash-ington, D.C.; Dasil G., of Vacaville, California; M. K. of Logan; Paul, Blackfoot, Idaho; Stanford, Ogden; Mrs. Lee (Naomi) Baker, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Charles (Celia) Cowley; Venice; and Larae Matthews, Roy; Mrs. Carlisle (Pauline) Hulet, of Summit; 45 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Aletha Gil- lins, Mrs. Sherwin (Pauline) Wood, both of Minersville.' Funeral Saturday at the Roy 2nd Ward Chapel. Interment In-terment under the direction df Myers Mortuary. |
