Show 4-H LARGEST YOUTH GROUP IN COUNTY Approximately 050 of the 5.5 million American vow involved in 4-H and other youth programs conducted by cooperative extension live in Beaver County, Utah' and more than 60 adults were involved as volunteer lead, ers. Several ' businesses were also involved, giving ' support to this largest of all youth programs. Projects and activities this past year included one-on- one basketball, nutri. tion. programs, Japanese Labo exchange,, bicycle safety, energy conservation, youth conferences, rabies clinics and leather. In addition add-ition to these special interest activities, the traditional programs carried were clothing, foods and food preservation, pre-servation, beef, and other livestock, horses, home environment, en-vironment, dairy and bees, These are the youth of Beaver County, youth to be proud of. Anyone interested in becomming involved as a member or volunteer leader should contact the Beaver County Extension Office. |
