Show Wilma Davi s - 386-2211 shall were happy to have her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Price, from Junction, and Mr. andMrs. Elwood Wright, from Kansas City,Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Madsen from Pleasant Grove, and Frances Germy, from Beaver, visit them and have dinner. Mr. Douglas Farnow, from Las Vegas, stopped into the store for a little visit and talked about the coming deer hunt. Garold Eyre celebrated his birthday. Spending the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Mr. andMrs. Bill' Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre. Lee and Lynnea Marshall and Paul, Kent and Lois, Val and Ann, spent the night The opening social of the Minersville Relief Society was held on the 27th of September in the Ward Cultural hall. President, Connie Marshall, took charge. A program was presented. Christy Heath sang, a skit was given by the members. Carmen Dot-son Dot-son sang. Lovely refreshments refresh-ments were served. A Soil Conservation Tour was held in Minersville. A luncheon was served. Rachel Hurst and Karen Hunter traveled to Minersville, Miners-ville, to visit their mother and grandmother, Mrs.Effie Marshall. Mrs. Ross Marshall, Mrs. Nettie Myers, Mrs. Sheral Carter traveled to Manti to attend the weddingof Michael Coy Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Mar- out west gathering pinenuts. Jeanne Bonn is visiting her mother-in-law, Mrs. Lola Bohn. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mc-Knight, Mc-Knight, and family, stopped in to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Hollingshead, and family, from Monroe, and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Hollingshead, from Cedar City, spent the weekend hauling hay for their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Mar-shall Hollingshead. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Craw, and Mr. and Mrs. John Craw traveled to "Los Angeles, where they attended a U.T.U. Regional convention. Mrs. Aletha Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood returned home after spending spend-ing some time in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. ' Thurman Eyre received word of a new grandchild born to Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Eyre, of Richfield. Mrs. Mitchell Myers, and children, and Mrs. Nora Callister, and children, from Delta, visited with theirpar-ents, theirpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Eyre. Several couples went to Salina Canyon for the Elk hunt. At the home of Phyllis Truman a birthday party was held for Rachel Hunt. Attending At-tending were: Walt Mes-singer, Mes-singer, from Cedar City, Ross and Eleanore Marshall, and Phyllis Truman. At the home of Madge Carter this past week were family members, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Carter. Dwight was just recently married. Mr. and Mrs. Wildon Carter from St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Verhaeren from St. George, and Kevin Carter, from Las Vegas,, were also there. The Mutual sponsored a rummage sale on Saturday. Many useful things, from washers to TV's were sold. Proceeds went to the ward budget. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder, and family, spent the weekend with their daughter and husband, Mr. andMrs. Larry Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins and Cynthia, traveled to Salina, to spend the weekend week-end with their family, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hutchings. |
