Show Conference will convene at 10:00 a.m. Special music will be provided by an Elders El-ders and Prospective Elders Chorus. The Stake Presidency Presi-dency and Elder Hatch will also speak at this meeting. All members and all non-member non-member friends are encouraged en-couraged and invited to be in attendance at the Saturday evening and Sunday Morning meetings. r . , I - 1 i j ; VJ The Beaver Stake Quar-erly Quar-erly Stake Conference will be held this Saturday and Sunday, August 12 and 13. The visiting authority will be Conrad V. Hatch, region- al representative of the Council of the Twelve of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.. Elder i Hatch has recently been ap pointed regional representa tive for the Cedar and Pan-guitch Pan-guitch regions, replacing Elder Lamar H.Stewart, who has been reassigned to the Manti and Fillmore regions. He began his assignment July Ju-ly 1. He was set apart for the calling by Elder Boyd K. Packer. Prior to his assignment as a regional representative, Elder Hatch served as president pres-ident of the Cedar City, Utah West Stake for 11 years. In addition he served as a councilor coun-cilor to President Theron Ashcroft and as Bishop of the Cedar Eighth Ward for three years. A priesthood leadership meeting for those invited leaders will be held at 4:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. a meeting to which all of the adult membership of the stake are Conrad V. Hatch invited to attend will he held in the Beaver 3rd and 4th Ward Chapel. The central theme of this meeting will be missionary work. Representatives of the stake mission will speak. Other selected speakers in addition to the Stake Presidency Presi-dency and Elder Hatch will address this session. The Genreal Session of the |
