May 31st the Jets scored a 27-7 win over the Bees, with pitching from Steven Kinross and a homerun by Thayne Marshall. Teddy Bridge and Chet Pearson pitched for the Bees. June 1st theMetshadalS)-1 theMetshadalS)-1 first inning and it was 24-4 in the second as they won 38-5 on the pitching of Todd Williams and Nelson Gray. Gray had two home-runs home-runs and Shawn Dalton one. Cub pitchers were Evan Rogers, Rog-ers, Todd Kelsey and John Dotson. On June 2nd the Bees bat-led bat-led the Jets to a 13-11 win. In the opening game May 5th the Jets scored a 17-9 17-9 win over the Mets behind the pitching of Robbie Rob-bins Rob-bins and Ryan Wunderlich. Pitching for the Mets were Todd Williams and Nelson Gray. Gray and Shawn Dalton hit homeruns for the Mets and Thayne Marshall had a homerun for the Jets. In the second game of the double header the Bees blasted the Cubs 12-1 with . Mark Yardly, going, all, the way on the mound for the Bees and John Dotson for the Cubs. On May 26th the Mets reversed re-versed the Jets with an 11-9 11-9 win. Pete Florence was the winning pitcher. Thayne Marshall and Damascus Kochamp Ko-champ combined on the mound for the Jets. Eric Gonzales had a homerun for the Jets. In the second game the Bees ' again held the Cubs, winning win-ning 13-5. Chet Pearson and Teddy Bridge were the winning pitchers. Evan Rogers Rog-ers and Kelly Foster pitched for the Cubs with Evan hit-r ting a homerun in the losing cause. On May 30 the Mets bat- 1 tied 22 runs across to two for the Cubs.
