On Wednesday, Mrs. Cuma Goodwin and son Bill, with pave and Jilene Burger, drove to Salt Lake and spent four days visiting with Jl-lene's Jl-lene's parents, Mr. and Mrs. jack Goodwin. On Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day they were in Logan Lo-gan to a McKill family dinner din-ner with 25 members enjoying enjoy-ing the festivities. Cuma did some shopping and visited members of the Poulton fam -ily. They all returned home Sunday afternoon. The children of Maurine and Duane Yardley were here for the holiday, staying until Sunday; Mike andBetsy Ca-hoon Ca-hoon and daughters of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, Wayne and Evelyn Mc-Culley Mc-Culley and sons of Salt Lake, Mike and Sherrie and daughter daugh-ter of St. George, and Paul and Barbara Yardley of Cedar Ce-dar City. Wayne and Evelyn also visited Wayne's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McCulley, while here. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Mayer May-er were in Corona, Calif, during the holiday. They had taken their granddaughter, Janay, back to her mother, Odette Lamb in Corona, and had Thanksgiving with her. McCoy and Jackie Williams Wil-liams had their family together to-gether for the big day, along with Coy's brother, Art and wife Mary, and their foster son, Travis, from Cedar City to enjoy the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner. Zeke and Phyllis Hickman motored to Provo for Thanksgiving to have the traditional tra-ditional turkey dinner with their family. They were at the home of Robert and Joan (Price) Edwards. Others coming were Danny andFaye Price and children of Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho and Rodney and Jackie (Price) Ogden and family of Delta. Stan and Adriene Roberts were with their two daugh-. daugh-. ters and families in Moroni for Thanksgiving at the home of Neil and LaRayne (Clark) Killet and daughters. Accompanying Ac-companying the Roberts were Bill and Maxine (Clark) Vandenburgh and children of i St. George. Attending the basketball game at Wayne High School last Friday were IWcCoy and Jackie Williams; and son Todd. They also had their niece, Betty and husband Vaughn McDonald and children, chil-dren, who are vi s.lting their parents, the Dan Fergusons, for the holidays. Also from Sou the Milford at the game wisxe Wayne Wiseman, Russell and Curtis Cur-tis Yardley, and Wayne and Mike Lounsbury. Don and Corrint! Yardley were in Pocatello, : Idaho with their family for the holidays, at the home of (lie ir daughter, daugh-ter, Debbie and Tii n Taylor and son Bryan. Al.'so enjoying enjoy-ing Thanksgiving Tay were their other sons, Scott, Chris and wife Pam and sons, Jason Jas-on and Korie, from Bountiful. Bounti-ful. Also at the Taylor home for the day were Tirn's parents par-ents , Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Taylor. The .YardLeys visited visit-ed Bountiful with Chris and Pam on their way home. Bert and Merlin Merry-weather Merry-weather had a nice surprise for Thanksgiving, . a visit from their daughter, Linda and husband John Baldwin and children from Reserve, New Mexico. They -weren't expecting them. Oni Friday, the Merryweathers, vrithoth- ' er members of the; .family, enjoyed a day at th; Merry -weather cabin. Thlis is the place they all like 'to go for fun and relaxation. Thie Baldwins Bald-wins also visited John.'s par T ents in Beaver. Lois Price, who attends school atSUSC inCeda r City, was home for the holiday vacation va-cation with parents,, Max and Clariss and sister T'Oitii, and grandmother, Clara Bildgood. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly spent the holidays ira Salt Lake with their son, Bob and wife, and Mr. anil Mrs. Burton Anderson and feimily. The Lynn Hatch hoime in Price was the place for the gathering of the Gail iindEl-va iindEl-va Van Tassell family for Thanksgiving. Lynn, Charlotte Char-lotte and children, Gail, Elva and Annette, Cliff and. Sylvia Ann ' Bradshaw and two daughters enjoyed the holiday holi-day being together. Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey spent Thanksgiving Day at their daughter's, Bonnie and Bruce Dalton and children in Hatch. With Mr. and Mrs. The- man Walker for the holidays were Linus arid Deanna Lep-pink Lep-pink and children, Cindy and Lenny Ryan and Christine from Salt Lake. The Lep-pinks Lep-pinks also visited with Linus' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Leppink of Milford. On Saturday Sat-urday their daughter, Margie Mar-gie Gale and son Steven from Cedar City, came to spend the day and Steven brought his pictures he had taken while on his mission in New Zealand and showed them. Opal really enjoyed the afternoon. after-noon. The family of Clair and Helen Gillins got together on Thanksgiving, all twenty-three twenty-three of them. Enjoying Thursday afternoon were thier son, Lorraine and wife Nona, their children, Keith and Connie and their sons, Corey, Kelly andColby, from Fillmore, daughter Kathy and husband John Kirk and son Brady, daughter Jeanette and husband Gerald, their children, Steven and wife Wendy, Lori, Karrie andSue Ann, Cedar City, daughter Louise and Bob McKnight, their daughters, Nicole and Natalie from Las Vegas, also Glenn and Billie Osborne, now living in Milford. It is just great to get together as a family during the holidays. |
