The Snake Valley Reunion was a success, with committee commit-tee members receiving compliments com-pliments on the dance and barbeque. Local merchants contributed door prizes for the dance, and a few prizes were awarded at the barbeque. barbe-que. A gentleman from Georgia Geor-gia received the prize for having come the longest distance. dis-tance. Rodney and Sharon Forsyth's daughter, Brenda, was awarded the prize for youngest present, and Mrs. Hesselgesser was the oldest person present. Rodney Forsyth For-syth also won the drawing for the door prize, an ice cream freezer. With the reunion came a lot of guests for the residents resi-dents of the valley. Rodney and Sharon Forsyth and their children from Cedar City were with Chester and Lo-rene Lo-rene Wheeler. Ron and Fro-na Fro-na Huntington and their children chil-dren were with Wayne and Mollie Gonder; Duane and Caralee Lyon of Cedar City were visiting with Bud and Gen Richardson over the weekend. My folks, Lee and Peggy Dilworth, were here for the reunion as well as to help us keep an eye on Chad because we were on the com -mittee. I know there were a lot of others, but I don't have all the information on those. I forgot, Bob and Tracy Jones were here from Las Vegas with Tracy's parents, Ladd and Pat Da vies, i Austin and Arvilla Wil- Hams spent the Labor Day weekend over near Ephraim. It was their last outing of the summer, and they were going after pike. Unfortunately Unfortu-nately the pike didn't want v to be come after, so they had a good visit with friends, Bob and Ida Jones. Gen Richardson is now in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She got word on Aug. 28th I that she and Bud had a new grandson, born to Doug and Blanche Sefcik. She's up there now visiting and giving giv-ing her approval of the new little one. Al and Stephanie Licht have had guests off and on this summer.
