Headquarters Battery, 2nd Bn., 222nd F.A., CedarCity, was the big winner, taking medical, intelligence, survey, sur-vey, and fire direction com -petition. Other winners included: supply - Service Battery, 2nd Bn., 222nd F.A., Beaver; gun section - B Battery, 2nd Bn., 222nd F.A., St. George; mess - Headquarters Battery, Bat-tery, Xlth Corps Artillery, Salt Lake City; administration administra-tion - Headquarters Battery, 1st B., 140th F.A., Salt Lake City; chemical, radiological, biological - A Battery, 1st Bn., 140th F.A., Salt Lake City; ammunition and drill and ceremonies - Service Battery, 1st Bn., 140th F. A., Salt Lake City; wire -D Battery, 140th FA., Logan Lo-gan and Garland; and maintenance main-tenance - B Battery, 1st Bn., 140th F.A., Bountiful. The only active unit to win was the small arms team from the 214th F.A. Group from St. Sill, Oklahoma. Sections from the 1st Bn., 84th FJl.., 9th Infantry Division, Di-vision, Ft. Lewis, Washington Washing-ton competed as well. |
