Show got away from It all for a little while. They took a drive through Ploche 'and down Meadow Valley Wash. It was a much needed little excursion. excur-sion. I forgot to mention that Bob Jones parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones, and his sister were able to be here for Bob's and Tracey's reception. re-ception. That's about it from out here for this week except to say that Channel 5 has good shows, but so do the other channels. Also, going over our access road last night, I thought about Monday morning washing. The road was just recently graded, but had deteriorated fast. When are we going to get some action? Becky Williams to make contact there ii Fallon. They got home lat Sunday evening, not withou m issing a marvelous storm Bill, Chad, and I went tos Dilworth family reunion ir Carey, Idaho on Saturday. We stopped in Trenton, Utah sc that we could go up with mj aunt and uncle. It was fur m eeting cousins I never knev I had, and renewing friendships friend-ships with the ones I knew, It was a rather tiring trip, but on the way home we were shocked into wakefulness by the storm thathitKingsCan-yon thathitKingsCan-yon about the same time w did. I can only say that if never drive through the canyon can-yon in a storm like that again, will be just fine with me. Austin and Arvilla Wil. liaros also got home from their vacation Sunday. We were gone all weekend and I had to go collecting col-lecting news this morning. The big news over the weekend was Tracey Davies wedding. She is now Mrs. Robert Jones. The knot was tied Friday morning in the St. George Temple. Some of the folks from the valley were able to be there with them. Pat and Owen Gonder and Carl and Aleeda Dear-den Dear-den were at the temple with them, plus Tracey's mom and dad and some grandparents. grandpar-ents. Jane and Alan Partridge Par-tridge were able to come back for the wedding, too. Others there were Caralee Lyon, and Sharon and Rodney Rod-ney Forsyth, all from Cedar City. Lee and Zelma Dearden were out this way over the weekend. They were here Friday night for the reception, recep-tion, and then went on to Ely for the races. LaRue Rowley went into Ely on Tuesday to pick up her sister, MedaRetter from Reno. Meda will be here vis -iting and doing geneology with LaRue for a little while. Fred and Roberta Conde were in Fallon, Nev. from Thursday to Sunday. Fred had a Lions cabinet meeting there. While they were there, they ran into a friend from Calif, who was on his way out here to see them. Just a lucky fluke allowed them |
