Heber and Emily Gillins and daughters Karen and Linda of St. George visited in town for a while on Christmas Christ-mas evening with relatives and friends. Sherrie Horton of Ely, Nevada Ne-vada visited a few days with her grandparents, Joe and Bemlce Ashley. Chris and Marilee Eyre and son of Provo are visiting visit-ing during the holidays with parents, Dale and Carla Eyre of parents, Mart and Sylva Davis. Bill and Frieda Wood went to Salt Lake Saturday to attend at-tend the funeral of a cousin. Randall and Loneva Banks received word of the death of Marjorie Banks, wife of Burton Banks of Kanab, on Saturday. Funeral services were Monday at Kanab. Vern and Florence Wood were in Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday visiting relatives and taking care of some business. Jay and Fern Mathews are spending the Christmas holidays holi-days in Las Vegas with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Clauss Marshall Mar-shall spent Christmas eve in Sutherland with Kent and Connie Mortenson and family. fam-ily. Troy and Robin Orton spent the weekend in Miners -ville at the home of grandparents, grand-parents, Clauss and Melba Marshall. and in Beaver with Marilee's parents. Aletha Gillins and grandson grand-son Rickey drove to Mid-vale Mid-vale and Kearns to spend the weekend with Cliff and Eleen Terry and Rickey's mother, Mary Ann Gillins. Monday night the elementary elemen-tary school held their Christmas Christ-mas plays with each class participating. Afterwards, Santa Claus made his visit to talk to the children and to give each one a bagof candy. Tuesday evening the family fam-ily of Effie Marshall held their traditional Christmas party at the LDS Church. The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Effie Marshall were in attendance. at-tendance. Games, a program and exchanging of gifts, followed fol-lowed by refreshments were enjoyed by all who were pres -ent. Visiting on Wednesday with Lew and June Griffiths were their daughters of Salt Lake City, Elaine Coult and son Terry, and daughter Wanda and Lona Fowles. Grant Wood and son Cary of Kearns visited Tuesday with parents, Floyd and Beu-lah Beu-lah Wood. Grant and Blanche Pryor spent Christmas in Ogden with their son Jay and daughter-in-law Janice and their family. They returned home Friday and then left that afternoon for Mesa, Ariz, to attend the wedding of a nephew, ne-phew, Paul Dalton, son of Brose and Bertha Dalton. Darwin and Vivian Marshall Mar-shall drove to Tempe, Ariz, to spend the Christmas holiday holi-day with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Val Marshall and family. fam-ily. Christmas visitors at the home of Wayne and Merle Gillins were their children, Calvin and Debra Hutchings and family of Price, Don and Kathy Stoddard and family of Salt Lake and Mitchell and Shelly Gillins of Anchorage, Anchor-age, Alaska. Karl and Phyllis Truman have had their children home visiting during the Christmas Christ-mas weekend; Ron and Annette An-nette Mayer and family, Jerry Jer-ry and Kathy Larson and fam -ily, and Bill and Gayle Peterson Pet-erson and family, all of Salt Lake. Truman and Merle Brad-field Brad-field were in American Fork to spend the holidays with their daughter and husband, Gary and Mary Lou Perkins and family. Monty and Joyce Iverson and family of Salt Lake were Christmas visitors of parents, Lorin and Lucille Goff. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Terry and baby of Salt Lake spent Christmas Day and the weekend week-end with their parents and brother, Bill and Ranae and James Davis. Bernice Limb and daughter daugh-ter Vickie Smith and her small son, of West Jordan, visited Friday with Charles and Virgene Jameson. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Debbie) Hollingshead announce an-nounce the birth of a baby boy born Dec. 24 and weighing weigh-ing 6 lbs. Grandparents are Marshall and Nellie Hollingshead. Hol-lingshead. Scott and Grace Bealer of Salt Lake were home for the holidays visiting parents, Fay and Betty Marshall. By special request there were two babies blessed and named in Sunday School Sunday Sun-day morning. The son ofDon and Kathy (Gillins) Stoddard was named Justin Mitchell and blessed by his father, Don Stoddard. The daughter of Chad and Ranae (Stoddard) Ogden was given the name of Jamie Lynn and blessed by an uncle, James Stoddard.
