Show Utah State Fair Promises Some Top-Rated Stars Hugh C. Bringhurst, Utah State Fair Director, announced an-nounced today that the theme adopted for this year's fair, Sept. 4-14, will be " '75 Edition of -A Great American Ameri-can Tradition". A spectacular array of entertainment with many top-rated stars will be featured fea-tured including TV and re -cording personalities, B. J. Thomas, Sept. 4; Tanya Tucker, Sept. 5; Ray Stevens, Sept. 6; Festus, Sept. 7-8; Lynn Anderson, Sept. 9 Roger Rog-er Miller, Sept. 10LaCosta, Sept. 11 Bobby Goldsboro, Sept. 12 Billy "Crash" Craddock, Sept. 13 and Jim Nabors, Sept. 14. The Jack D'Johns, a favorite fa-vorite attraction of fairgo-ers fairgo-ers two years ago, will return re-turn for daily appearances. Sharing the spotlight with the Jack D'Johns will be Candy Candido, Ventriloquist Jimmy Jim-my Nelson and Dave Merri-field Merri-field Helicopter Act. "Holiday on Ice" will be held in conjunction with the fair at the Salt Palace, Sept. 4-3, and ice show tickets will include a free admission admis-sion to the fair. Mr. Bringhurst stressed that a significant part of the fair's tradition lies in the beautiful and impressive exhibits, ex-hibits, and he invites citizens citi-zens to exhibit in the many departments of the fair. Commercial exhibit space is going fast and exhibitors are planning a wide variety of exhibits. Mr. Bringhurst noted that the fair will be geared for the enjoyment of patrons of all ages and all interests. |
