Show MINERSVILLE Clarence and BerniceGll-lins BerniceGll-lins motored to Salt Lake Monday to spend a few days on business and shopping. Oz and LaRetta Myers have gone to Tillamook, Ore. to visit their son Ronald and family; also to take care of some business there. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Boh -man of Morgan visited over the weekend with Bill and Frieda Wood. Slldona Easton and son Mike and his wife Nancy visited vis-ited Daisy Gilllns and son Karl on Wednesday. Karl and Phyllis Truman and Max and Anna Rae Carter Cart-er were in Reno, Nev. Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday attending attend-ing a John Deere Convention. Conven-tion. The 4-H groups were at Kents Lake Monday till Friday Fri-day to the 4-H encampment. Bill and Lettie Gibson traveled to Heber City Saturday Sat-urday to attend the funeral of a friend. Val and Dorothy Thomp son, Tooele, and Earl and Essie Thompson, Milford, enjoyed dinner Saturday with Doug and Elma Blackburn. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie (Kaye) Gray and children, Debra and Kevin, visited with Delmer and Ilene Gray during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Wilson Wil-son ofVictorville, Calif, visited vis-ited a few days with Grant and Blanche Pryor. Marie (Marshall) Pickard and children of Moab visited for a few days with her parents, par-ents, Alton and Virginia Marshall. Lois Crystal and baby of Las Vegas were here for a week visiting her parents, Arshal and Lela Evans. Mamie (Dotson) Robinson and daughter and son, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Robinson and children of Florida, are at the old home here and visiting vis-iting their many frends. Emily Dotson and daughter Jolyn went to Salt Lake Saturday-to visit Emily's mo- Monday evening Ern and Shirley Myers, Frank and Drucella Carter, Homer and LaRue Harris, Daisy Gillins and Ruth Dotson of Mlners-ville Mlners-ville and Ned Dalley, Max-ine Max-ine Wilson and Maxlne Edwards Ed-wards of Beaver were hosts and hostesses to a party at the Beaver swim pool park for a large group of friends from St. George. Broasted chicken, hash browns, corn on the cob, tomatoes, cucumbers, cu-cumbers, jello salad, cake, and punch was the menu. The evening was spent in dancing danc-ing on the cement. The music mu-sic was furnished by a group from St. George. About 50 people enjoyed the evening. Sunday nite In church Nettie Net-tie Myers, Leila Carter and Lois Pierson gave talks on their trip to the Holy Land. The fire truck was called out Wednesday to put out a fire at the Royal Wood home. The fire was weeds and debris de-bris that could have been worse than it was if it had gotten to the home. I ; I, ther, Mable Therning, who is recovering from an eye operation. Julie Short of Milford visited vis-ited with Valerie Wood for a few days. Daisy Gillins and son Karl were in Sandy visiting Earl and Charlene Gillins and boys Saturday and Sunday. Bernell and Velma Mc-Affee, Mc-Affee, Payson, visited over the weekend with relatives. Joan Makin and children of Ogden arrived Sunday evening to visit with her parents, par-ents, Howard and Gwen Pryor, Pry-or, for a week. Kristy Maycock, daughter of Larry and Carolyn May-cock, May-cock, was 4 years old Aug. 10. She had a party for her little friends. Dohn and Mildred Martin motored to Provo Saturday to attend the wedding reception recep-tion of their granddaughter, Kathy Martin and Terry Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gillins Gil-lins and son of Kanab visited visit-ed over the weekend with parents, Clark and Mary Gillins. Gil-lins. Lynnea Marshall accompanied accom-panied her daughter Janet Bradshaw and baby to Salt Lake Friday on business. Weekend visitors at the home of Daisel and Wilma Davis were Gary and Jane Blackner. On Sunday dinner guests were Ethel Blackner, Black-ner, Dora McMullin, Beaver, and Jack and Pam McMullin and boys. |
