Horace and Madge Carter returned last Sunday from California where they have been visiting their two daughters daugh-ters and families for two months. Relatives here to attend the funeral of Berdell and Joan Corbrldge were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gressman, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gressman and Mrs. Yvonne Gressman all of California. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker and daughter Marlene Seegmiller of Paradise, Para-dise, Utah, Mrs. La Berta Richardson and daughter Martha Mar-tha of Longdale, Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Goldle Adams, Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Corbrldge of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Golden Eyre, Cedar City. Paul Powell of Buena Park, Calif. Is visiting for a few days with Ern and Shirley Myers. Frank and Drucella Carter traveled to Hunter Friday afternoon to visit with their rett and family. Delmer Gray attended the graveside services for Ray (Dick) Goodwin In Beaver Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. Marclne and Sylva Davis, Ralph and June Pearson,of Mlnersville and Jack and Gwen Ogden, Mllford spent Monday evening visiting Newell and Theo Marshall, ltbelngTheo's birthday. Chett Pearson son of Scott and Joyce Pearson celebrated his 7th birthday Monday. His school friends enjoyed a party with Mm. Don and Eva Davis have returned home after spending a month in Blackfoot, Idaho visiting their daughter, Don and Peggy Brlenholt and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Raul Pearson Pear-son attended graveside services ser-vices In Beaver for an Uncle, Ray Goodwin, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Odell Thompson Thomp-son and family of Henderson, Nev. are visiting their mother, moth-er, La Rue Thompson. While here Odell will be having medical med-ical aid at the Mllford hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lorln (Lucille) (Lu-cille) Goff spent a few days In Salt Lake during the week, where Lorln was having a medical check up. Butch and Beth Ashworth and family, Salt Lake City, visited over the weekend with parents, Ruben and Emily Dot -son, also on Sunday Jeanne Gale and family of Eeaver visited the Dotsons. Ruben Dotson went to Salt Lake City Monday for a few days for a medical checkup. Lincoln Camp of the DUP held their monthly meeting at children Verl and Bonnie Holdaway and family for a few days. Kayleen Carter, daughter of Max and Anna Rae Carter has been chosen as a delegate to the 4-H Convention to be held in Washington D. C, June 5th to June 20th. Dean and Donna Carter and Allen and Jean Carter spent a few days in Las Vegas during dur-ing the week. Daisy and Karl Gllllns spent Saturday and Sunday in Sandy and Provo, Utah visiting Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gllllns and family and Mr. and Mrs. "Louie" Moser and family. Allen Jameson brought Charles and Virgene Jameson and his Mother Effie home from Salt Lake City Saturday. Charles was having medical treatment In the city. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Carter, Page, Arizona spent a few days visiting their parents Horace and Madge Carter. Betty (Wood) Murle and children, St. George, visited over the weekend with her mother Ella Wood. David and Chris Marshall have gone to California for a few days to attend a horse show. ' The classmates of Alan Wood surprised him with a birthday party at the home of Janette Hollingshead Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Alan was eleven years old. Mr. and Mrs. Lee (Salley) Smith and family, Las Vegas, spent, the weekend visiting their mother Gladys Myers. Joan Makin and children of Ogden are visiting her parents, par-ents, Howard and Gwen Pryor, while her husband Tom Is in Texas for some advanced . schooling in dentistry for a week. In Sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day afternoon Becky Kesler and Merrill Lowe were speakers. speak-ers. Becky has just returned from a mission to the North Western states. Oz and La Retta Myers are in Las Vegas where they will be for a month or so while Oz is working out of Vegas for the railroad.
