Show Pat and Owen Gonder and children from Ogden came home to spend the Christmas holidays with their families. They stayed at the home of Owen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gander and had Christmas Christ-mas dinner with Pat's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tanner. Mrs. Wesley Jorden and Mrs. Merlin Terry went to Ely on Monday. The L.D.S. primary children had their Christmas party on Wednesday i.n the Baker Church. Their parents and younger brothers and sisters were invited. The school children child-ren put on their program the following Tuesday at the Baker Bak-er Church. Santa Claus came to visit afterwards, bringing all the children a gift. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm spent Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. La Von Rowley. Then they went on to Linden, Utah for the Christmas holidays, Cecil Rowley made a business trip to Delta on Tuesday, The stove at the Callao school house blew up. go the children got out early for the Christmas holidays. Irl Timm and Dennis spent Christmas in Delta with the rest of the family. Vema Sims said she may go in for awhile on Christmas to be with the family. Mr. and Mrs. David Bagley and children are out for the Christmas holidays. The Callao school and church had,, a program on Tuesday night at the Callao church. Everyone plans on going Christmas caroling on Christmas Christ-mas eve in Callao. The big snow storm we had last Wednesday raised soma problems for the Partone school. Their teacher was snowed in, at Pleasant Valley and the Bates kids from Gandy were unable to make it to school because be-cause of the deep snow. Also, no one was able to go to work in Callao for a couple of days because of the snow. Ross Johnson had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Davies at Burbank. Gary Anderson and family are out for the Christmas holidays. holi-days. Mrs. LaRue Faircloth and children had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hun-nington Hun-nington and family. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder went to Mercedes, Calif, to spend Christmas with their daughter, Lila and husband Dorian Faber. Lee and Zelma Dearden went to Elko, Nev. to have Christmas with Earl Edgar. Okelberrys have been shipping ship-ping their sheep out. Seven truckloads went through on Monday, Lee Okelberry and Golden Steele from Goshen, were out for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timm spent Wednesday afternoon visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Rowley. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pefloy from Sparks, Nev. spent several days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rowley over the holidays. Don and Jack Ingram went home for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Rochard Timm had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Tripp, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rowley had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Rowley and children. Verna Sims, Patsy B.aker arid Dennis went to Delta one day last week.
