Show CAREFUL ,KIDS . . . JUDGE ED MAY GET ROUGH Teen agers appearing before Justice E. L. Smith may be in for a rough time in the future. The Judge purchased two new hoses for his lawn, put them to work sprinkling the green grass, and dutifully turned them off at 9 p. m. Next morning, each hose had been cut into four pieces. "I've tried to be a little lenient," len-ient," Judge Smith said, "on the theory that the kids were just letting off a little steam when they were apprehended in minor law violation. But now, I dunno ... I might have offenders working on tlKf streets." .. |
