Show warn -- Mrs. Helen Simpkins and children Ronnie and Jill Marie, left Monday for their home in Glendale, Cal., after spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins. While here the family visited Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Thomas and Mrs. Sharon Fowler in Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Medley Med-ley in McGill. Mrs. Medley is spending a few days at the Gillins home. Mrs. Carol Jean Bouck and Kathy Hanley of Salt Lake were here to see their mother, Mrs. Jean Hanley, who is a patient in the Milford Valley Hospital. Mrs. Judith Oman and baby Maria of Sutherland spent sev eral days with her mother, Mrs. Helen Cook. Mrs. Lorraine Horton will meet her husband Marvin at Green River, Wyo., and they will return to Milford together. togeth-er. Mr. Horton will be working work-ing for the Union Pacifc at Nampa, Idaho. Fred Gilliam is drilling for a Salt Lake firm on the Shield Development property west of town. His wife Adele and three children of Salt Lake spent last week end at the home of his parents, Mr. . and Mrs. Doug Gilliam. The Fred Gil-liams Gil-liams plan to move to Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atkin, Mr. and Mrs.. Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davis, Mrs. Naomi Hughes and Mrs. Serel-da Serel-da Fernley attended funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Lyman Ly-man U'Ren last Friday in Orem. Roger Patterson, 2V2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Patterson, suffered a fractured frac-tured wrist and briuses last Friday when he was struck by a bicycle near his home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrook of Lancaster, Cal., spent a few days here attending to business busi-ness and visiting relative. Mr. Nina Bingham is at home recuperating from injuries in-juries suffered in a fall. She suffered cracked ribs, bruises and minor laceration. 9 Gale and Lola Banks have -been in Salt Lake to get acquainted ac-quainted with their first grandchild, grand-child, Justin Gary, born May 15 to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Banks. He weighed in at 7 lbs. Gordon Roberts, son of Mrs. Carlie Gronning of Las Vegas, spent last Wednesday with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. V. Waddoups, prior to leaving for a mission in Canada. Mrs. Marie Kennedy will undergo major surgery in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Her sister, Mrs. Ruth Grein-er, Grein-er, will care for the Kennedys' children Diane and Leslie at her home in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Nickels of Salt Lake spent a few days in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Swindle-hurst Swindle-hurst of Hollister, Cal., spent several days with his brother, Arnold Swindlehurst. |
