Show MILFORD HIGH CLASS OF 1970 j WILL BE GRADUATED MONDAY Monday, May 25, will be Graduation Day for 31 Milford High School Seniors. Commencement Com-mencement exercises will start at 8 p. m. in the high school auditorium. An "Old Grad," Mrs. Leah Foerster of Bountiful, will be guest speaker at Baccalaureate Services, scheduled for 7:30 p. m. Sunday, May 24 in the LDS Church. Mrs. Foerster and her husband, hus-band, Dick, moved to Bountiful Bounti-ful several years ago, but both have maintained an interest in Milford. Mrs. Foerster was a leader in the movement, in the 1950's, to construct the new elementary school and remodel the high school. The Awards Asembly is scheduled for 1 p. m. Monday afternoon. Betsy Yardley will read the class history, LaDon Grimshaw the class will, and Patti Carter the "prophecy." At the Commencement Exercises, Ex-ercises, David Kirk, vice president, pres-ident, will deliver the class president's address, and four honor students, Connie Kirk, Jim Rimpau, Brenda Wlcock and Rodnie Nichols, will deliver de-liver Honor Addresses. Musical numbers will be by Lee Symond, Lee Symond and Kay Willams, and a quartet, Adele Mayer, Colleen Murie Karol Pipher and Ken Holm. Scholarships will be presented present-ed by Jesse Long, principal, and the diplomas will be presented pre-sented by Norman Lamb, member mem-ber of the Board of Education. |
