Show 9 A family get-together was held Monday evening observing observ-ing the 8Cth birth aninversary of Mrs. Inez Carter. Inez Etta Roberts Carter was born Sept. 15, 1883, in Miners-ville Miners-ville to Frank Edwin and Jane Rollins Roberts. She married Hayward Carter, Oct. 3, 1900. Attending the get-together were Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter of Beaver; Mrs. Nettie Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall. Mitchell and Michael Gillins. twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins, observed their 15th birthday Monday, Sept. 15. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Jolley of Salt Lake, visited their daughters daugh-ters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Tex Marshall. O Kristy Eyre, who has been living with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, is now with her father, Calvin Eyre in Richfield. Mrs. Rachel Hunt and children chil-dren of Cedar City spent a week with her mother, Mrs. Effie Marshall. S Mrs. Gertrude Marshall and daughter Brenda of Grandview, Wash., are expected in Minersville. Mrs. Minerva Procter of Alimony is with her sister, Mrs. Lillie Lambson, recuperating recuperat-ing from a leg injury. Mrs. Alba Carter spent ten days in Encino, Cal., visiting a son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gress-man, Gress-man, and attended the iwedding of a grandson, Bob Gressman. Mrs. Irma Eyre and Jerry Eyre were honored last Friday evening at a birthday party, attended by 40 members of the Eyre and Gillins families. Mrs. Yvonne Gressman and daughter Carol Ann left for Van Nuys, Cal., where Carol Ann will seek employment. They are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gressman. |
