Miss Clark's grandfather grandfath-er R G Van Horn, is m the Veterans Hospital in serious condition and Delilah's mother moth-er of California, is also m ban Lake to be with Mr. Van Horn. Leonard Hillman is now employed em-ployed in Delta. . Ted Rimpau has returned from Los Angceles where he went to see his father, Ed Rimpau, Rim-pau, who underwent heart surgery sur-gery in St. Vincent's Hospital. Mr. Rimpau is convalescing satisfactorily. sat-isfactorily. . , Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rogers of Palmdale, Cal., were 24th holiday holi-day callers at the home of his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Rogers. . Mr and Mrs. Mac Thompson and children of California are moving back to Milford, and have purchased the Donald Mr. and Mrs. Gale Banks, has returned to Milford to work at the Milford State Bank. Gary and Mary Weston and children of Murray have been here visiting parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards and Mr. and Mrs. John Weston. Mrs. Mary Kinney and a lady friend of Redwood City, Cal., were here to pack the belongings belong-ings of Mrs. Kinney's mother, Mrs. Magdalena White, who will live with her daughter in California. Mrs. White has just been released from a hospital after two months' treatment. Mrs. Joy Hillman and baby Trasy have returned from Pomona, Po-mona, Calif., where she spent two weeks visiting friends. The Joseph Banks family reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at American Legion Park. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Caldwell and children of Salt Lake spent the week end at the homes of sisters, Dave and Dorothy Morris Mor-ris and Tom and Jesse Williams. She also visited an other daughter and family, the Bud Herricks of Morton, Wash., and Gretchen Hawley at Seattle. Allen Bingham, son ol Mr. and Mrs. Florin Bingham, spent most of last week with his parents in Milford and brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bingham, in Salt Lake. After enjoying a day of fish ing at Minersville Reservoir he left last Thursday for his home in Floydada, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Don Young have returned from Denver, Colo., where they spent three weeks with a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gordon and baby Allen. Rodney Sears is now at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs George Sears, after being employed by the Union Pacific in Oregon. Mrs Dianne Berger and new baby Tiffany of Salt Lake and her sisters, Patti Jean and Mary Ann Slinkerd spent several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers. Mrs. Marie Rollins and her daughters, Mrs. Virginia Grimes and Mrs. Janet Walker, Milford, Mil-ford, and Mrs. Merle Fails, Minersville, attended the wedding wed-ding of a granddaughter and niece, Miss Nancy Foley, daughter of Mrs. Glenna Foley, in Long Beach, Cal., last Sat- Randall Banks, held in Beaver last Sunday. Becky Mash, 14 year old granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kohler, flew to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, for a month's stay with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Kelson. Mr. Kelson is an official with the National Science Foundation. Founda-tion. Charles and Suzan Atkin and four children spent the July 24th week end at Reno and Lake Tahoe. Mrs. Marguerite Lee and children, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lee and Mrs. Elbert Applegate motored to Garden Grove, Cal., last weewk to see Mrs. Lee"s mother in law Mrs. Florence Virchsield, who is seriously ill. Shirley Ashley will fly to San Diego this week to be with her husband, 3c William A. Ashley, who leaves Aug 11 for a combat mission in the Asian theater aboard an attack aircraft carrier. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Jefferson Jeffer-son are moving into their new deluxe mobile home, at 354 North 100 West. Dave and Dorothy Morris were in China Lake, Cal., at ( the home of their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wellington. Lt. Howick has been stationed at Laurel Bayt So. Car., and will leave Aug. 16 for Vietnam. Mrs. Howick will stay in Murray while her husband is in Vietnam. Viet-nam. Sharlene Wellington of Salt Lake joined the group in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks of Manti have been visiting his son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Miller. Here on leave from the Great Falls, Mont., Air Force Base, are Dan Price and his friend, Dan Smith. They are at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Price. |
