Mike Schow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schow, is now at Fort Benning, Ga., attending Officer Candidate School. He spent his furlough in Milford after completing basic training train-ing at Fort Ord, Calif. O Kenneth D. Elmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Elmer, is taking Naval Aviation training at Pensacola, Fla. His wifa Cheryl will join him after his 11-week course. Mrs. Leah Murie was in Salt Lake a few days last week visiting her daughter Linda, who is employed there, and her father, Ernest Pickering, who underwent surgery in St. Mark's Hospital. She brought her father to Milford, where he will stay until about July 24. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Rollins of Logan spent a few days visiting visit-ing parents Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Crane and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Rollins. They are Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hanney of Murray, Mur-ray, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hanney, Han-ney, Mrs. LaRae Tucker and daughter, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chidester, Granger; also Mrs. Hanney's' sister and niece,' Mrs. Lottie Brown and Ruby Barton, Las Vegas, and hart. Ind. 9 Kent and Tamara Gillins o Idaho Falls, Idaho, are visiting his mother, Mrs. Thelma Gillins, Gil-lins, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Myers in Miners-ville. Miners-ville. Thursday Kent will take his pre-induction physical. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin have returned from an 11 day trip. They joined a group in Ogden for a camping trip at Lake Charles Creek, spent a week in Salt Lake with their children, and attended the Ute Stampede at Nephi. 9 Mrs. Emit Lue Williams and three sons of Torrance, Calif., are spending a month visiting parents Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Carter. Another daughter of tlie Carters, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wheeler and six children of Ogden, spent the week end here. Jackie Dalton, Milford Valley Val-ley Hospital nurse, has accepted accept-ed employment at a San Diego hospital. Mrs. Eileen Peterson and daughter Lori accompanied accompa-nied Miss Dalton to California, and will visit Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wunderlich in Monte- bello. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson entertained friends Mr. and Mrs. Dale Slawer of Semi, Cal., July 9 thru 13, and the group enjoyed a trip to Bryce Can yon. and four children of Cheyenne, Wyo., are spending their two week vacation with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Crane. 1 9 Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brad-field Brad-field were recently in Sunland, Calif., where they visited his mother, Mrs. Lora Bradfield. Last week end Mr. and Mrs. Bradfield were Out West chasing chas-ing wild horses. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam were Mr. Killam's cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Don Hall of Whittier, Calif. Mrs. Josephine Killam and daughter Kristy were in Salt Lake where Kristy received re-ceived medical attention for a heart ailment . 9 Mrs. Marie Kennedy and children Diane and Leslie, and a friend, Connie Mayer, vacationed vaca-tioned at Shelton, Wash., visiting visit-ing Mrs. Kennedy's sister, Mrs. Rita McArthur. Mr. Kennedy, who is employed in that area, joined the family there. 9 Debbie Kennedy is employed in Las Vegas for the summer. 9 The Milford wedding reception recep-tion in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Schow will be held Saturday Sat-urday evening, July 19, in the multi-purpose room of the Elementary Ele-mentary School. 9 Mrs. Margaret Quibel of Salt Lake and son Loy Wheeler Wheel-er and children of Beaver were in Milford Tuesday. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Jefferson Jeffer-son spent last week end in Henderson, Nev., with their daughter Judy. 9 Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths are their sons and families, Monto and Irene Griffiths Grif-fiths of Martinez, Calif.; LeRoy and Pat Griffiths and children of Murray, and Bill and Margaret Mar-garet Griffiths and children of Scottsdale, Ariz. 9 Mrs. Theressa Pitchforth spent 11 days in Flagstaff, Ariz., with her son in law and daughter, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Paul M. Crosby, and got acquainted ac-quainted with a new great-grandson, great-grandson, son of Capt. and Mrs. Paul S. Crosby. She also attended at-tended the Indian Pow Wow. 9 Julia, Debbie and Scott Brinkman spent a week with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Brinkman. While here the Coopers took the children on ( a trip to the Beaver Mountains. Last Friday Ronald and Sheila Brinkman of Sandy, accompanied accompa-nied by Leland Thompson of Salt Lake, motored to Milford and the Brinkmans took their children home Sunday, after attending at-tending the wedding Friday evening of John Kirk and Kathy Gillins. 9 Mrs Clinton Myers has returned re-turned from Salt Lake where she spent a week getting acquainted ac-quainted with a new great-granddaughter, great-granddaughter, born July 8 to I Rick and Diane Berger. Also in 1 Salt Lake for the event were i -and--ircnts Mrs. Gloria Slink-erd Slink-erd and children Patti Jean and Mary Ann of Raytown, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Berger of Bountiful. Pattie Jean and Mary Ann also spent a few days in Milford. 9 Dr. and Mrs. David Christiansen Chris-tiansen and family are planning a vacation to San Francisco. 9 Mrs. Naomi Hughes will attend at-tend two family reunions those of the Hughes family and the Stevens family, in the northern north-ern part of the state. 9 Sophia McMullin has been here for two weeks visiting an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke. Miss McMullin McMul-lin had just returned from a 4V2 year stay in Tokyo, Japan, where she was an instructor and interpreter. Her father and sister, W. N. McMullin and Elise of Denver, came to get her and spent a few days with the Burkes. 9 Fred Sredcerbin of Sanger, Calif., spent a week with his sister, Mrs. Tillie Rae Dixon. 9 Jennelle, Joey and Nicky Leko have returned from En-cino, En-cino, Calif., where they visited their grandmother and aunts. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Albert Munari of Las Vegas were at the Green Diamond Ranch last week visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Nick Leko. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gillins and children Tonya, Mark and Beckie of Dayton, Oregon, have been here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins. The children will spend the remainder of the summer with their grandparents. 9 Mrs. Raymond Smith and daughter Louise have returned from a ten-day visit with her sister, Mrs. Jeanette Dube, in Los Angeles. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Lural Smith of LaHabra, Calif., recently visited his brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Smith. 9 Mr. and Mrs. John Kirk, newlyweds, are living in the rental home of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell White. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mayer, newlyweds, are renting the David Coleman house on North Main Street. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Larsen have purchased the Richard Jefferson house at 55 North 300 West Street. 9 Mrs. Nora Wright received a call from her son Denny Tuesday evening, saying he had just arrived in San Diego from Vietnam.
