L, " - , j APPLICATIONS FOR ANTELOPE HUNT DUE NEXT WEEK Prospective antelope hunters must make application for a permit next week, July 14-19. if they hope to be included in the drawing for one of the 180 permits authorized this year. Applications must be made on one of the special application applica-tion forms, filled out properly and postmarked no later tha:i midnight on July 19 if it is to be considered in the public drawing set for July 23 at the Division of Fish and Game office of-fice in Salt Lake. No money, is to be sent with permit applications, ps successful success-ful applicants will b;: notified by mail. Then they have until August 5 to pay for their permit. per-mit. Only residents of Utah may make application, and any resident res-ident who held a Utah antelope ante-lope permit in 1967 or 1968 is not eligible this year. Hunting units and the number num-ber of permits available are: Bonanza, 50; Cedar City, 10; Daggett, 30; Parker Mountain, 20; Promontory, 5; Snowville, 15; Southwest Desert, 30; West Desert, 20. Season dates for all hunts will be August 16, 17, 18, and August 23, 24, 25. I |
