Show Delbert S. Bliss School Board Names j New Superintendent Delbert S. Bliss was appointed Superintendant cf the Beaver County School Disitrict at a special spe-cial Board of Education meeting May 16, 1969. Mr. Bliss graduated from Utah State University in 1960 receiving a Bachel.r of Soience Degree in Science and Speech. He reciivod a Master of Education Educa-tion Dt-gree from Ulah Sta.te University in 1964 in Educational Education-al Administration. He will receive re-ceive a Doctor of Education degree de-gree in August 1969 from the University of Utah in Educational Educa-tional Administration. Mr. Bliss has had teaching and administrative experience in schools in Utah and Idaho. He has served as teacher and principal prin-cipal of West Side High School in Dayton, Idaho. He has also taught at North Davis Jr. High School and at Granger High School. Since 1966 Mr. Bliss has been Coordinator of General Studies at the University of Utah. Mr. Bliss is manned to the former Sandra Troseth of Lewis ton, Utah. They are the parents of five children. He will assume his duties as Superintendant, July 1, 1969. |
