Show ANKS OFFER 1,000 IN LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS Four Beaver County youth-will youth-will receive assistance in furthering fur-thering their education from the Milford Stale Bank and its Beaver City Branch. Starting with the 1969-70 school year, the banks will offer four $250 scholarships to graduating seniors sen-iors of Milford High School and Beaver High School. The scholarships will b" awarded to two students from each school, selected by a committee com-mittee to be named by the banks' officers. The grants may be used at any college of the student's choice, or at a trade tech. "It is the desire of the board of directors ' of the Beaver County banks to assist worthy students in furthering their education," ed-ucation," said J. C. Smith, executive exec-utive vice president of the banks, "and we particularly want the committee to select students who otherwise might not be able to attend college . or a trade tech." |
