Show SERVICES HELD FOR SOPHIA JOHNSON Funeral services for Mrs. Sophia Johnson, 86, who died Jan. 29 of causes incident to age, were conducted Friday in the Milford Community Methodist Meth-odist Church, under direction of Rev. Grayson H. Gowen, pastor of the Cedar City Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church. Rev. Gowen offered the prayer pray-er at the mortuary, and the invocation in-vocation at the church. Prelude and postlude organ music, Mrs. Myrtle Tribole. The Lord's Prayer, congregation. congre-gation. Vocal duet, "Whispering Hope," Mrs. Dora Pool and Mrs. Nelouise Schow, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Tribole. Scripture reading, Rev. Gowen. Gow-en. Vocal duet, "Ivory Palaces," Mrs. Pool and Mrs. Schow. Obituary, Dr. Eugene Davie. Funeral sermon, Rev. Gowen. The grave in the Milford City Cemetery was dedicated by Rev. Gowen. Pallbearers were Bill and Allen Schow, Howard Lund, Ward Thompson, Dan Ferguson, Fergu-son, and Gale Banks. The flowers were cared for by Rebekah ladies. |
