On Christmas Christ-mas Day the two sons of Jesse and Mary phoned, Jay from his military duties in South Carolina and Bill from Hawaii. O Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin are in Salt Lake visting their children, Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Duard Nay. A Clark and Linda Sonvini returned re-turned to their home in Salt Lake after spending the holidays holi-days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams. Miss Sandra Furr of Santa Susana, Calif., is spending the Christmas vacation with her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson, and brother, Steven Furr. The group spent a few days in Salt Lake with Mr. Johnson's son Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Johnson John-son and brother Mr. and Mrs. Orlyn Johnson. Paul and Audrey McGinn of Topeka, Kansas, spent the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. McGinn. Paul is affiliated with Eastman Kodak Co. and Audrey Aud-rey is home economist for the State of Kansas . Clyde Mapes is employed in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. John V. Davis and three children of South Milford have left for Ronnan, Mont Mr. Davis had been employed em-ployed by American Mining Co. since 1965. Max and Connie Keetch and two children of Las Vegas were here over the week end to celebrate Max's birth ani-versary, ani-versary, Dec. 30, and visit folks, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mor-ris Mor-ris . Mr. and Mrs. Tom James and son Tommy spent the Christmas holidays in the northern part of the state vis-iting vis-iting children, Mr. and Mrs. Nate Smith and son at Lay-' ton, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy James and children in West Point, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny James in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Treat spent Christmas in Las Vegas with a friend, Mrs. Kate Shingleton. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield Gar-field have returned from a two week Christmas holiday trip. They spent a few days in Death Valley, and in Redlands, Cal., visited a son and daughter in law, Neil and Patsy Garfield and children, and visited a son in law and daughter, Bud and Carol Johnson and children chil-dren in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton have returned from a nine-day holiday trip, during which they visited their children and families, fam-ilies, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Horton Hor-ton in Salida, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Horton in Bountiful, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bailey in Salt Lake. They also visited visit-ed Mrs. Horton's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno J. Maffei in Denver. Mrs. Florence Beard was in Salt Lake for three days visiting vis-iting her son, Mr. and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Beard and three daughters. daugh-ters. She (was accompanied back to Milford by a granddaughter, grand-daughter, April, who will visit here this week end until her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Beard, come for her. Mrs. Naia Beard was in Salt Lake to spend a few days with her husband, Merrit, who is employed there by the Union Pacific. She also visited a sister, sis-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bor-rowman Bor-rowman in Bountiful, and they were joined by their mother, Mrs. Mabel Hansen of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and visited their son David at the American Fork Training School. |
