Principal Jesse Long has mailed a letter to "all parents oi our meticulous young ladies who attend Milford High." He continued: "One of the many commend-11 commend-11 able comments "we have re-L re-L ceived over the past years in from numerous visitors and faculty to our school is the conservative and far above average dress of our student body. As a school we have al- ways been proud of the ap-j,i ap-j,i ptarance, both in school and at .the numerous activities we participate in, however, after a great deal of discussion with our young ladies, some of them persist in coming to school in ultra-short skirts. We have encountered several embarrass-h' embarrass-h' ing moments when pur young ; ladies dressed in the attire, performing at the blackboards, and other types, of activities.
