Show ELEVEN TO VIE IN QUEEN PAGEANT Eleven young ladies between the ages of 17 and 25 will vie for the honor of reigning over all the pomp and ceremony of the Milford Centennial throughout through-out the summer and especially Centennial Week, August 4-11, 1973. Each girl must be sponsored by a local businessman and the cutoff date is Monday May 21st. Anyone who wishes to compete for the title and represent Milford should contact con-tact Mrs. Naomi Hughes before that date or contact a businessman business-man not listed below for a sponsor. The pageant will be on Friday June 1 at 8:00 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium, and will include a program and entertainment, as well as a number by the contestants. The judging will be based on poise, personality, and character, u.nder different situations. In order to help prepare pre-pare the girls for the contest, a short charm school will be offered to the contestants under un-der the direction of Mrs. Arlene Malchus. The contestants already turned turn-ed in, and sponsors are: Linda Jimenez, John's Sinclair Service.
