Show THINCLADS GO TO DIXIE MEET Coach Max Herzog took the Tiger Thinclads to the Dixie Invitational last Saturday. April 9th for their first outing of the year. Even though it is early a d few athletes are in top shape Milford managed to place in, several categories. The winter weather has hindered practice and confined workouts to the gymnasium except for the past veek. Richard Smith ran the 100 in 11.4 for a seventh place finish; fin-ish; Paul Yardley. 8802:20.4 and seventh; Brad Gale, mile 5:20 and seventh; Tom Jones, Discuss 104'lMj" and another, seventh. In the Medley Relay, Barnes Smith, Yardley and Gale ran in 4:29.3 for a sixth. Kevin Brox gained a fifth with a shot put of 40'5". The 880 Relay put Raines, Smith, Craw and Short in at 1.44.4 for fourth and Barnes picked up two more fourths with a 5'6" high jump and a 19'8" broad jump. Milford |
