Show By Pat Larry Lofthouse has completed com-pleted a special week-long insurance in-surance career school at Beneficial Bene-ficial Life in Salt Lake. O Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vernon returned Monday from Wan-ship Wan-ship where they attended funeral fun-eral services for Mr. Vernon's brother in law, Bert Moore. They also visited a granddaughter, grand-daughter, Linda Vernon, at Provo. Linda will tour Europe this summer, and dance at the World's Fair in New York, as a member of the Folk Dancers. Mrs. Naomi Hughes has returned re-turned to Milford after spending spend-ing the week end in Logan, arid going through the Logan Temple with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hutch-ings Hutch-ings were on a week's vacation trip to Los Alamos, New Mex., where they visited their son in law and daughter, Larry and Colleen Adams and two children. chil-dren. Mrs. Harry Jimerson and five children of Salt Lake are spending a week with her mother in law, Mrs. Laura Jimerson. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pettey of Hyrum recently joined Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowley in Milford, Mil-ford, and the two couples attended at-tended a Teachers' Convention in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Culver Cul-ver are in Las Vegas for a fun trip. Here to assist twith the Glen C. Wahlquist household and get acquainted with the new daughter born to the Wahl-quists Wahl-quists April 16 are Mrs. Wahl-quist's Wahl-quist's mother, Mrs. Lois Buckley, Buck-ley, and 91 year old grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Margaret Mc-Guire, Mc-Guire, both of Independence, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kinross and two children plan to move back to Milford from Spring-ville. Spring-ville. e Gaye and Ann Ruth Reese, children of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Reese of Cedar City, spent the week end with their grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. David Reese. O Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Turner of Las Vegas are expected in Milford this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Al-brecht Al-brecht have been in Los Angeles An-geles where Mr. Albrecht received re-ceived his annual medical Check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir will leave this week end for California to visit their sons in law and daughters, Wallace and Dorothy Mastros of Palm-dale, Palm-dale, and Carlos and Shirley in Arcadia. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth have returned from a 12-day vacation trip. Stops were made in Woodland Hills, Calif., at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Smyth and baby; and at Claremont they called on Mrs. Smyth's sister, Mrs. Marie Lewis, and other relatives. They also visited relatives in Las Vegas. Mrs. Nancy Bartlett of Salt Lake was in Milford over the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Ruth. Mrs. Bartlett and Mrs. Ruth motored to Enterprise to see Mrs. Ruth's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Terry. Mrs. Terry is in ill health. Wednesday Mrs. Ruth returned to Enterprise for a few days' stay. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Leavitt of Gunlock were in Milford over the week end to call on their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tait. Mrs. Lynetta Cottrell and 2 year old son Cameron visited last week with her grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. Annie Denny, and Douglas. Mrs. Cottrell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. McCarty of Kaysville. Received a note from the Myron Persons saying they were getting along fine, and to tell their Milford friends hello. Word has been received that the Ira Fisher family plans to move back to Milford. They have been living in Davis, Cal. Mrs. Lillian Mayer is in Lodi, Calif., to spend a week with her mother, Mr. and Mrs. I Edward Jesse. |
