An adult must accompany each animal. Charge for the vaccine, which is effective for three years for the dogs and one year for cats, is $2.50 for the Bow-wows and $1.50 for the meows. Dog and cat owners of South Milford, Minersville and Beaver Beav-er are urged to have their animals an-imals vaccinated during this mass-inoculation clinic. No dogs will be licensed In Milford unless the owner can show a vaccination certificate cer-tificate from a registered veterinarian. Unlicensed dogs will be destroyed. At an early date the Milford City Council will pass an ordinance, or-dinance, prepared by City Attorney At-torney Sam Cline and submitted submit-ted (by request) to the State Health Department for checking check-ing of technical provisions and type of vaccine to be required. Immediately upon approval of the State Health Department the ordinance will be submitted submit-ted to the city council. Dog owners will not be required re-quired to wait until passage of the ordinance before obtaining a license, but may apply for their dog license immediately after the inoculation clinic, or at any time if they have' a veterinarian's vet-erinarian's certificate proving vaccination. |
