Show TUESDAY IS ELECTION DAY Next Tuesday, Nov. 5, Milford Mil-ford voters will elect three city councilmen for four-year terms? to succeed Roland Culver, Walter Wal-ter P. Morford and John H. Davis, neither of whom filed for reelection. Candidates are Karl G. Hanney, John Jimenez and Keith L. Long, on the Independent Inde-pendent Party ticket; and Robert L. Carter, L. A. Wynaught Wy-naught and Roy L. Young, on the Democrat Party ticket. Mr. Hanney is u retired Milford Mil-ford city employee and formerly for-merly a mining man. Mr. Jimenez Jim-enez operates John's Sinclair Service, Main street gasoline station. Mr. Long is associated associ-ated with Majestic Mining and Milling Co., operating the Majestic Ma-jestic open pit mine and mill west of Milford. Mr. Carter is a Union Pacific Pa-cific brakeman, Mr. Wynaught is a retired Milford businessman, business-man, formerly operating the Shell Service station now operated oper-ated for Sinclair by Mr. Jimenez, Jim-enez, and Mr. Young is a Union Pacific "brakeman. Polls will be open from 7 a. m. to 8 p. m. Voting for all three Milford precincts will be in the Library Building on South 100 West Street. A light vote is expected, possibly pos-sibly due to lack of any major campaigning and lack of any major issues presented by candidates. |
