Show This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by G WEN PRYOR C A miscellaneous shower was held Thursday, Sept. 6, at the home of Mrs. Lynette Potter, honoring Miss Jalene Potter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Potter, who will marry Kenneth Ken-neth Patterson of Milford. Mrs. Frank Decker (Betty Carter) and Mrs. Ellis Carter of Parowan visited here Monday Mon-day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter. Madge Carter has just returned home from the Beaver County Hospital Hos-pital where she had been a patient the past week. Lynn Eyre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, celebrated his 10th birthday on Sept. 10 with a party. Many schoolmates celebrated cel-ebrated with him. Visiting with their mother, Mrs. Ruth Dotson, are Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dotson and sons of Moab and Mrs. Nancy Sisneros and Malinda of Boulder, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Limb and Sheri of Ely, Nev., are visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor. Mrs. Clara Charles and children chil-dren of Boulder, Nev., are visiting vis-iting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood. A personal shower honoring Judy Fails was held Saturday evening at the home of Jan Truman. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Gray spent the week end in Las Vegas visiting relatives and friends. C Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bohn of Las Vegas visited relatives here this week. Gaye Pryor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor, celebrated cele-brated her eighth birthday with a party on Sept. 10. Also celebrating her birthday birth-day on Sept .10 was Audrey Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Marshall. Rachel Eyre and Renee Eyre were co-hostesses at the monthly month-ly Literary Club meeting Friday, Fri-day, at the home of Rachel Eyre. Refreshments were served serv-ed after a book review. Jerry Eyre and Mrs. Irma Eyre enjoyed a joint birthday dinner at the home of Irma Eyre. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Hil-ton Gillins. Mrs. Betty Murie and children chil-dren of Cedar City spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wood. |
