Show This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by GWEN PRYOR Our Minersville correspondent, correspon-dent, Mrs. Gwen Pryor, has been confined to the Beaver County Hospital Below are a few items she handed us for this week's paper. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo King motored to Twin Falls, Idaho, to attend the wedding of her granddaughter, Anne King. Accompanying Ac-companying them were Joya Goff and Mrs. Lucy Richards. Mrs. Amanda Nolder is spending this week in Cedar City with her son in law and duughter, Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdcok and a niece and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Armstrong. Arm-strong. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Edwards Ed-wards are spending several weeks in California with relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter accompanied ac-companied the Milford High School Band to Las Vegas, where the band participated in the National Legion parade. Mr. Carter drove the school bus which transported the students. stu-dents. At the Town Board meeting Inst Monday, Frank Carter was named town marshal. Mrs. Lotus Fassett is in Ventura, Ven-tura, Calif., visiting a son and daughter in law, and a new granddaughter. Mrs. Reva Albrecht will replace re-place the tlird-fourth grade teacher, Floyd Johnson, who left for his home in Delta where he operates a farm. James and RaNae Eyre have a new grandson, born Saturday to Mr. and Mrs. James Edwards in Cedar City. Mrs. Augusta Marshall is now at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnson. 9 Paula Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Marshall, underwent a tonsillectomy in the Beaver County Hospital, Thursday morning. Mrs. Etta Rollins of Salt Lake is in Minersville visiting relatives and friends. |
