Show Mrs. Phyllis Symond and children and Mrs. Dorothy Kizer and daughter will spend the week end in Flagstaff, Ariz. Allen Mcintosh is in Milford Mil-ford visiting his family, Mrs. Irene Mcintosh and three brothers. He had been in Salt Lake visiting his two sisters, Nancy and Genevra. Allen has just returned from Korea and on June 1st will leave for a new assignment. PERSONALS Billie Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Myers, who underwent under-went surgery in a Denver, Colo., hospital, is reported to be improving satisfactorily. His parents have been with him. Mr. Myers returned to Milford. last week end and Mrs. Myers will remain in Denver until Billie is ready to return. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth will leave this week end to attend garaduation exercises at the BYU. Their son Neil will be among the graduates, with a major in Business Administration. Adminis-tration. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth received word that their first grandchild had been born Monday morning to Mr. and Mrs. Neil Smyth. The little Miss weighed 8 lbs, and was born in a Provo hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith and grandson RusseU Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Persons and family fam-ily in Townsend, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen Niel-sen are planning a trip to the northern part of the state next week end. They will call on relatives in Pleasant Grove, Ephraim, and Salt Lake Todd R. Berger was born May 8 in a Provo hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Berger. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Riley of Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Berger have been in Provo to see their grandchild. Mack Whittaker will graduate gradu-ate from the BYU this week end, with a major in Chemistry. Chemis-try. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Whittaker, Whitta-ker, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young and Mr. and Mrs. George Sears plan to attend the commencement com-mencement exercises. Mack received re-ceived an assistant teaching scholarship at the U of U, where he will work on his Master's Decree. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Col-burn Col-burn have returned from Sun-nyside, Sun-nyside, where they visited a son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Van Campen. |
