Show Notes From the FISH AND GAME With more anglers seeking early springtime recreation on the streams and reservoirs opened op-ened to year round fishing, the department of fish and game today reminded that regulations reg-ulations covering the use of baits and lures for fishing remain re-main the same as those in effect last year. Angling is permitted with any bait except game fish or parts thereof and live fish. The eggs of all species are permitted for bait. Angling is permitted with any mechanical lure, except no lure shall have more than gangs of hooks, and no lino shall have attached thereto-more thereto-more than two baited hooks or two flies. Chumming is illegal, with the law reading, "It shall be unlawful un-lawful to cast, deposit, or cause to be deposited in any waters of this State, any de-fice, de-fice, material, or substance for the prupose of chumming or baiting the waters so as to cause or induce fish to gather." |
